5-Day Toubkal Ski Tour – High Atlas Mountains, Morocco

Discover the thrill of ski touring in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, a destination that surprises every visitor. Ski across pristine snowfields in a country more famous for deserts and beaches, with Mount Toubkal (4,167 m) as your majestic backdrop. The surrounding high peaks and valleys create ideal winter snow conditions, just 80 km south of Marrakech.

During the tour, you will stay in mountain shelters and traditional Berber houses, each day bringing a new valley to explore and stunning alpine landscapes to admire. The trek is fully supported by a local team including a mountain guide, cook, porters, and mules to carry equipment where necessary.

This adventure offers a unique combination of skiing, mountain scenery, and cultural immersion — perfect for those seeking something completely different from traditional ski destinations.

Day 1 : Marrakech - Imlil 1700m -Toubkal Mountain Hut 3207m

After breakfast transfer from Marrakech to Imlil in the starting point of your ski trip, a steady climb takes you to the refuge of Toubkal Hut installation, dinner and overnight

Day 2 : Toubkal Hut 3207m -Toubkal Summit 4167m

Your first day of skiing, actually begin the ascent of Mount Toubkal, the latter which is the highest in North Africa, a beautiful view across the mountains, then you will settle in valleys great, then back to the Hut

Day 3 : Toubkal Hut 3207m - Ras Ouanoukrim 4089m

Day devoted to climb Mount Ras Ouanoukrim, a beautiful view across the mountains, and then you will settle in valleys great, and then back to the Hut, dinner and overnight.

Day 4 : Toubkal Chalet 3207m – Akiod Mount 4045m – Armed Village 1940m

Day devoted to climb Mount Akiod, a beautiful view across the mountains, and then you will settle in valleys great, and then back to the Hut, after lunch back to Imlil, overnight in best lodge in Armed village.

Day 5 : Armed 1940m - Marrakech.

After breakfast back to Marrakech.
