Pick-up from Marrakech Airport at the scheduled time and transfer by vehicle to Imlil. This is where the trekking route begins and where you will meet the support team that will accompany you throughout the trek (mountain guide, mule, and muleteer-cook).
Imlil (1,740 m) is a well-known Berber village and the main gateway to Toubkal National Park, from where most Mount Toubkal expeditions start. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a traditional tea break before beginning a walking route through the Berber villages of the High Atlas Mountains. You will have the opportunity to interact directly with the local people and discover their culture and traditions.
Arrival in Aremd (2,050 m), where lunch will be served. In the afternoon, we recommend a walk around the village, offering magnificent panoramic views of Toubkal National Park, the Imlil Valley, and Jbel Toubkal (4,167 m), the highest peak in North Africa.
Dinner and overnight stay at Gîte d’Étape Dar Imperial, Aremd.
