3 DAYS Combined Toubkal Trekking and Mountain Biking in High Atlas Morocco

After breakfast we have 1h 30 drives to Imlil village, and we will begin the trek. Heading along the Ait Mizane Valley, we first pass Aremd village and then onto the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch. We then continue east and by crossing the flood plains our route take us along mule tracks and up into the high rocky cliffs above the valley crossing the river we eventually come to the pastoral shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, which attracts tourists and pilgrims. From here the trail continues to climb steadily, snaking and zigzagging its way up to the snowline in ( in winter ) and the Toukbal Refuge (3207m), our stop for the night, Approx 4 to 5hrs walking. Height difference 1507m between Imlil and Toubkal hut.

Up early for the climb up Toubkal (4,167m) from where, clouds allowing, you’ll have wonderful views over the Atlas Range and the Sahara Desert then a long way back down past the refuge and the well-worn path back to around village. Overnight in lodge, this is a fairly long day with 8-9 hours of trekking, involving 900m up then almost 2,500m back down to around village overnight in Lodge. 9 to 10 hours walk.

After breakfast you will start your MTB from our lodge, you will ride your bike before pass of the Tizi N'tamatert, which is situated at an altitude of 2280m. The first warm-up is on a good rolling road overlooking the deep valley of Imnane against bottom with contrasting cultures terraces with an arid flank. You reach the track on the right side and you will find a succession of superb Berber village’s beehives clinging to the sides of the mountains in the background with majestic summits of the High Atlas Morocco Mountains frequently snowy. After a superb descent, your mountain biking ends to Asni, and after lunch transfer back to Marrakech.
