Tour Description

2-Day Mount Toubkal Ascent from Marrakech

This 2-day Mount Toubkal trek from Marrakech is a rewarding adventure in the heart of Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains. Designed for travelers with limited time, it offers the opportunity to reach Jebel Toubkal (4,167m) — the highest peak in North Africa — while experiencing the region’s stunning landscapes and rich Berber culture.

The journey begins with a scenic drive from Marrakech to the Imlil Valley, where you’ll meet your local mountain guide and support team. After a traditional welcome tea at a guesthouse, the trek starts along mountain paths leading toward the Toubkal Refuge, your base camp for the night.

On the second day, an early start takes you uphill toward the summit. The ascent is steady and non-technical, and the effort is rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views across the High Atlas, the Marrakech Plain, and the distant Sahara. After time on the summit, you’ll descend back to the refuge for lunch before continuing down to Imlil and returning to Marrakech in the afternoon.

This trek is ideal for adventure seekers looking for a short but unforgettable Mount Toubkal experience, guided by local experts who know these mountains best.
